- Establish project delivery strategies, team structures, resource plans and execution budgets.
- Support proposal preparation, tender reviews and negotiations with clients, partners and contractors.
- Assess delivery partners, EPC contractors and subcontractors, including their capabilities and associated risks.
- Oversee engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities against agreed cost, quality and programme objectives.
- Take responsibility for project financial performance, cost control, margin and management reporting.
- Lead contractual strategy, claims management, dispute avoidance and commercial negotiations.
- Identify and manage technical, contractual, financial and delivery risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead multicultural teams and maintain effective communication between Taiwanese stakeholders and international colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, internal governance and health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
Profile Required:
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical background, with strong project management credentials.
- At least 15 years’ project management experience, including leadership of large, complex infrastructure or Design & Build projects.
- Demonstrable ability to combine technical delivery leadership with high-level commercial and contractual negotiations.
- Experience taking responsibility for project financial performance and margin.
- International experience across different project delivery and contractual models.
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Professional fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and an understanding of Taiwan’s business and project environment.
Highly Desirable Experience:
- Water, wastewater, desalination, environmental infrastructure or treatment plant experience.
- Delivery of comparable complex industrial or EPC projects.
- Experience supporting BOT projects, tender development and partner negotiations.
- Overseas experience that supports effective collaboration between Taiwanese stakeholders and international teams.
What Sets This Opportunity Apart:
- Responsibility across a portfolio of projects in Taiwan, combining current delivery with future development.
- Involvement throughout the project lifecycle, from early commercial strategy through commissioning.
