Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Lake Placid, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location supporting athletic training operations, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors, staff, and athletes. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to athletes, staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, training areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with site policies.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence in a high-visibility athletic training environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
