Carpenter/Bench Joiner

We are currently looking for a full-time bench joiner / cabinet maker / furniture maker to join our growing business in Sevenoaks, Kent.  Our clients are based around the south east and in London. As a bench joiner / furniture/cabinet maker you will be required to produce specialist cabinetry & free standing furniture for both the residential and commercial market. This will include making products to spec, initially working from detailed design drawings, making the furniture and at times will include on-site installation.  You must be confident with the use of all machinery and be able to understand & read production drawings. It would be an advantage to have experience using CAD.   You will need to be self motivated but also be able to work well as part of a team.  There will be some travel involved as you will be required for site fitting of items produced. KEY SKILLS:Excellent time managementHave a good eye for detailA positive approach to workGood problem solving skillsExperience of workshop carpentry and on-site installation is essentialGood computer skillsGreat communication skills - as you will be dealing with a variety of people from suppliers to clientsA full UK driving licensePlease apply immediately if you would like to hear more about this position.
