Requirements
We are looking for experienced, highly motivated litigation paralegal who seeks more than just another job. Daily responsibilities include:
- Legal and factual research
- Drafting legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts and legal memoranda(s)
- Assisting lawyers in the preparation of pleadings and motions
- Preparing and answering written discovery
- Preparing correspondence
- Organizing and tracking case files
- Reviewing and monitoring new and updated laws and regulations
- Helping with trial preparation including witness lists, exhibits and trial binders
- Assisting lawyers in the courtroom
- Accurately and timely submit billing for work performed
- Knowledge of legal terminology, court rules and the judicial system
- Outstanding time-management and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to authoring accurate work
- Critical thinking
- Stress tolerance
- Desire to work collaboratively as a team
- Ability to multitask and work with a diverse client base
