About the Role
As a Medical Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end compliance and documentation process to facilitate successful medical placements. This role requires rigorous attention to detail to ensure all practitioners meet the legal and regulatory requirements for practicing in Australia and New Zealand. You will act as a subject matter expert in medical compliance, providing an exceptional experience to ensure doctors and clients become loyal advocates through seamless onboarding.
What you’ll do

Compliance Management: Maintain, audit, and validate essential medical records, including work rights (VEVO), national criminal record checks, AHPRA/MCNZ registrations, and professional indemnity insurance.

Doctor Portfolio Support: Manage a dedicated portfolio of healthcare professionals to ensure they are 100% "market-ready" and fully credentialed prior to their placement commencement.

Credentialing Administration: Coordinate the collection and verification of primary source documents and manage the lifecycle of expiring credentials to ensure continuous compliance.

Financial & Payroll Support: Validate and organize essential documentation required for doctor payments and reimbursements, ensuring all financial compliance markers are met.

Process Improvement: Follow established business manuals while actively contributing to the "Plan, Do, Check, Act" cycle to refine credentialing workflows and organizational efficiency.

Stakeholder Communication: Deliver high-touch service through proactive and professional communication with doctors, medical boards, and internal sales teams.
What You Bring

Education & Experience: A tertiary qualification and previous experience in medical credentialing, healthcare administration, or a high-compliance commercial environment.

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Zipline (e-credentialing), Salesforce (CRM), and Bullhorn (ATS) is highly regarded, alongside proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
