Stand Up Forklift Operator

Elite has an immediate position available for an experienced Stand-Up Forklift and Reach Truck Operator to join our team in a warehouse facility. This is a day shift position with overtime on the weekends. You must be drug free and have your own reliable transportation. You must have two years of stand-up forklift experience. We are looking for dependable, energetic employees with great attitudes and take pride in their work to join the team. Experience with warehouse scanners and freight handling is required. Dependable and flexible with work hours. Description:The company is looking for an experienced full-time/year-round reach truck operator to work in a safe and efficient manner.  This position is responsible for operating the standing reach truck to stack and move freight to and from vehicles and containers.  This is a 40 hour a week position that works the night shift This position requires a minimum of 1 years of Reach Truck or Stand-Up Forklift experience is required.  Must be drug free and have reliable transportation.  Must be able to read, decode and decipher freight coding. Must be able to use a scanner and inventory  with freight. Responsibilities:·        Unload inbound and outbound containers, sort according to size of freight and destination·        Read, decode, and decipher freight coding in order to expedite freight movement and tracing process·        Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests·        Label, weigh, and sort freights·        Responsible for inventory, rotation and inspection of freight held in the warehouse·        Follow safety procedures and properly use safety equipment·        Any other task as requiredFull time position. Need to help set up the new warehouse. Training provided for system use. Pay is depending on experience. Must have a positive attitude and have willingness to learn new things. Must be able to pass background with clean driving record and valid license.Must be able to use warehouse scanners Must be able to use basic math skills  Essential Physical Requirements/work environment:·        Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs·        Requires repetitive bending, twisting and reaching·        Must be able to stand for long periods of time Requirements:·        Minimum 2 years of Reach Truck/Stand-Up Forklift experience required·        Driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; and·        Ability to pass drug and background screening are required. Local warehouse in Valdosta, GA  Must pass a drug test. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.Pay will depend on experience.
