Job Description
This position will be responsible for servicing a customer base and building upon it. Responsibilities of this position include delivery of diesel gasoline, and other refined petroleum products directly into customer equipment, vehicles, and onsite tanks. This position operates a tank wagon truck and performs on-site fueling at agronomy sites, construction sites, industrial sites, commercial fleets, and other customer locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
- Must be willing to accommodate a flexible schedule. Some deliveries will happen before 5 am and/or after 6pm.
- Deliver petroleum products to customer locations in an efficient, punctual, and safe manner.
- Dispense fuel directly into customer equipment (wet hosing) and onsite tanks.
- Follow all DOT, hazmat, and environmental regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- CDL with Hazmat endorsements or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment and acceptable driving history.
- Outside sales experience and territory knowledge is a plus.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize.
- Ability to frequently get in/out of truck to fill multiple tanks per shift
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience.
- 1-3 years fuel delivery, tanker, or CDL driving experience a plus, but not required
Physical Demands:
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee needs to regularly be able to lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance activities, and perform other physical duties necessary at a Keystone location. Employee will regularly be required to walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel and grasp.
