Role Summary
Free People is looking for a Planning and Allocation Co-op to be responsible for all assistant duties in the Planning and Allocation department.
Role Responsibilities
- Work in synergy with Buying and Merchandising toward common goals for the merchandise area.
- Support planning counterparts with reporting and operational functions needed within the
- division
- Assist in developing style-level plans based on current forecast, historic trend and test
- information for key items or attributes
- Learn to analyze retail business and give recommendations for sales upside
- Participate in OTB, Strategy, and Hindsight meetings, contributing input on distribution strategies
- Weekly reporting on company sales and trend
- Tracking styles on-order and turnover units
Role Qualifications
- Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize projects and multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and high proficiency in Excel
- Strong statistical analysis skills
- Ability to grasp multiple systems quickly
- Detail oriented
- Creative thinker
