Carteret Management Corporation is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Driver to transport residents of our apartment communities in downtown Jacksonville. What You'll Do
As our Part-Time Driver, you'll play an important role in helping residents get where they need to go safely and comfortably. Responsibilities include:
- Safely transport residents on scheduled routes and outings.
- Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when needed.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain monthly trip logs and required documentation.
- Coordinate and ensure routine vehicle maintenance is completed.
- Keep the vehicle fueled, clean, and ready for service.
- Operate the vehicle in compliance with all local, state, federal, and DOT regulations.
- Monitor and replenish emergency and first aid supplies as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws and DOT regulations.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (medical card).
- Knowledge of highway safety rules and regulations.
- Professional, dependable, and courteous with excellent customer service skills.
