ARC Senior Manager Castrol (fixed term until 2029 July)
In this role You will:
Lead a team of qualified Finance professionals through Castrol Separation ensuring a smooth transition and optimization of financial processes within the new Castrol operating model.
Work closely with business leadership, Tax, FP&A, GSC, other FBT functions and external stakeholders to ensure accounting, control, governance and financial risks are appropriately managed.
Ensure that the Group Reporting Manual is properly applied at the local entity level and all accounting judgements are consulted, evidenced, documented and approved within Accounting Policy requirements and Delegations of Authority.
Serve as a finance subject matter expert to the organization, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of accounting policies to optimize outcomes while maintaining strict adherence to relevant standards and compliance requirements.
Ensure requirements of all local legislation concerning financial reporting, accounting and control are met, including Statutory and Tax Reporting where relevant.
Improve the capabilities of your co-workers and the wider finance and business teams through coaching and mentoring, build capabilities and develop competencies.
What You need to be successful:
Finance & Accounting Professional with relevant experience with proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end accounting and reporting processes
Recognized national or international professional accountancy qualification, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA preferred
Fluency in English
Strong understanding of company’s Financial & Accounting processes and systems (SAP)
Proven track record demonstrating ability to interact with and influence people at all levels within the organization, strong stakeholder management skills
