This position is based onsite as it is not a remote job, ensuring that the Supervisor can effectively manage and support our nursing staff directly.As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, contributing to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Your leadership will ensure that patients receive timely, efficient, and compassionate care, and that our nurses are empowered and supported in their roles. You will drive the adherence to all regulatory and compliance guidelines while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the nursing staff and coordinate schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.Monitor patient care for quality, addressing any issues with standards of care or compliance promptly.Implement and enforce healthcare policies and procedures that ensure the safety of patients and staff.Mentor and support nursing staff to enhance their professional development and ensure high levels of engagement and competence.Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to keep the team updated on new guidelines and to refresh their knowledge on existing healthcare procedures.Assess and review patient care reports and treatment plans to ensure they meet the required health standards.Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and departments to streamline care delivery and improve patient outcomes.Maintain records of staff performance and patient progress, filing detailed reports to higher management for review.Manage patient complaints efficiently and professionally, resolving issues following best practices and regulatory guidelines.Expand the team’s capabilities through recruitment and training of new staff.Guarantee adherence to legal guidelines and internal policies, striving for quality and consistency in care delivery.Requirements:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Valid nursing license and any other certifications as required by state laws.Minimum of Two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a supervisory or leadership role.Experience in home Hospice care settings is highly preferred.Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage nursing staff.Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid practices.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of handling high-stress situations and sensitive information gracefully.Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to enact swift decision-making.Commitment to professional development and maintaining high clinical standards.Adept in the use of healthcare software and electronic medical records.
