CNC Machinist – Carbon Room (Second Shift)
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist in our Carbon Room, where precision and reliability are at the core of everything we do. This full-time position offers a stable schedule on our second shift, working four 10-hour shifts from Monday through Thursday, starting at 3:30 PM. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines to produce high-precision components
- Load and unload machined parts using various jigs and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production
- Make necessary adjustments to tools and machinery to maintain compliance with specifications
- Change tools as required to optimize machining processes
- Perform inspections of finished parts using measurement tools to verify quality and adherence to standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic understanding of tooling and machine adjustments
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work the second shift schedule and overtime as needed

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior CNC experience preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and understand, business correspondence as it relates to the job function, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Sinclair personnel.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
