Job Description:
University Tire & Auto Service has been providing superior automotive repair and maintenance to our customers throughout the Los Angeles area for over 40 years. The company is seeking a motivated Tire and Lube Technician to join our team!
Schedule:
- 40 hours/week
- The shift does not fluctuate daily / weekly
- Work only 5 days/week
- We can work around your existing commitments (family, school, etc.)

Qualifications:
- ASE Certifications (Not required, but a plus)
- Smog Certified (Not required, but a plus)
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- At least 1 year of previous experience in a retail shop environment
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough and accurate courtesy inspections.
- Accurately documenting all findings in repair orders.
- Performing quality control procedures.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Cleaning work space to facilitate safe and efficient service.
- Maintaining / cleaning shop equipment as needed.
- Identifying preventative maintenance services.
- Following TSB's and repair procedures.
- Willingness to perform a wide variety of automotive repairs and services.
- Performing other functions as assigned or as the situation requires.
