Clinical Director (BCBA)Waco, Texas | $90,000-$95,000 Base Salary + Quarterly Bonus | Hybrid Schedule
Healthcare Recruiters International is partnering with a growing ABA provider to hire a Clinical Director for its Waco, Texas location.
This position offers the opportunity to lead a clinic focused on quality outcomes, ethical ABA practices, and clinician support. The organization provides strong operational resources, low billable requirements for leadership staff, and a clear pathway toward regional and executive leadership positions.

Position Overview
The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations within the clinic, ensuring quality treatment delivery, mentoring BCBAs, supporting staff development, and maintaining compliance with clinical standards and best practices.
This role combines leadership responsibilities with a limited direct clinical caseload, allowing leaders to focus on staff development and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor BCBAs and clinical team members
- Review and approve treatment plans and clinical recommendations
- Ensure clinical quality standards are consistently maintained
- Conduct observations and quality assurance reviews
- Support recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of clinical staff
- Oversee BCBA development and ongoing training initiatives
- Participate in patient intake and assessment processes
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain a small direct-service caseload
- Drive clinic performance and KPI achievement
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
- Current BCBA certification
- Texas LBA or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities
- Minimum 1 year of BCBA experience
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience supervising clinical teams preferred
