Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Host in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location where you will serve as the welcoming front desk presence, assist with access control, monitor activity, and support security-related needs through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will help to deter incidents while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, backed by a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, managing visitor check-in and access procedures, and supporting security-related protocols for a professional technology office location.
• Monitor lobby activity, answer questions, and help direct employees, guests, vendors, and/or deliveries while maintaining accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, urgent situations, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Support badge verification, reception coverage, and other front desk duties that help to deter unauthorized access and help promote an orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
