Role Purpose

  • Lead the global media agenda across retail media, data & analytics, and strategic media partnerships.
  • Act as the global point of reference for retail media strategy, while managing a team focused on media analytics and partnerships.
  • Build media community and capabilities to improve media effectiveness by providing clear frameworks, guidance, tools, training, partnerships and best practices.
  • Collaborate with global, regional, and local stakeholders across media, e-commerce, commercial, sales, data, IT, finance, procurement, and legal teams. Make sure we generate added value collectively across different workstreams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Retail Media Strategy & Excellence 
    • Define and deploy Danone's global retail media strategy, frameworks, and best practices, supporting markets in local adaptation and execution.
    • Drive measurement excellence by increasing visibility on investments, performance, incrementality, and business outcomes while scaling best-in-class market initiatives.
  • Data & Analytics
    • Lead the media data and analytics agenda, ensuring alignment with business priorities and collaboration with Analytics and IT teams.
    • Prioritize analytics needs and guide the development of KPIs, measurement frameworks, reporting solutions, and actionable insights.
  • Media Partnerships
    • Own the global strategic partnerships agenda across platforms, publishers, and technology partners, maximizing business value and innovation opportunities.
    • Drive partnership governance, budgeting, and Joint Business Plans while fostering collaboration across media, influence, and brand teams.
  • Capability Building & Upskilling
    • Elevate media excellence through capability-building programs, playbooks, training, communities of practice, and knowledge sharing.
    • Bring external trends, innovations, and best practices into the organization to accelerate digital media maturity and performance.
  • Central Expertise, Agency Management & Governance
    • Serve as Danone's central media expert, providing guidance on digital media best practices, governance, account structures, and activation principles.
    • Manage agency relationships and governance processes while ensuring compliance with brand safety, privacy, and data usage standards
  • Team Management : lead and develop a team of 2 media specialists covering analytics, performance measurement, strategic partnerships, and market support.

About You

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered. 

  • Strong experience of at least 10years in media, digital media, retail media, performance marketing, partnerships, or media transformation.
  • Good understanding of retail media and how it connects with e-commerce, commercial priorities, and media planning.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with data, dashboards, reports, and investment tracking.
  • Strong critical thinking to identify the needs, define the objectives and build a plan to achieve.
  • Experience working with agencies, platforms, technology providers, or external media partners. 
  • Navigate complex matrix organizations and manage diverse stakeholders.
  • You're fluent in english
