Heavy Driver (airfreight)

Main responsibilities

                

• Provide back up and support to the air export and clearance team
• Arrange delivery of aircraft, ship spares and other cargo to customers as per requirement.
• Collect cargo delivery note with date/time/ name and signature of consignee upon delivery and handover to clearing and forwarding agents on daily basis.
• Collect payment upon cargo delivery and as required/ instructed
• Perform cargo inspection before delivery.
• Report any damages to cargo or any other discrepancies to export cargo manager.

 
Qualifications:

• Secondary graduate.
• Holding the following licenses: Light Vehicle License / Heavy Vehicle License / Forklift License
• Minimum of 3-5 years driving experience
• Experience in handling shipments at Bahrain Airport Services.
• Good writing and communication skill, ability to speak Arabic is added preference
• Customer Service level attitude
• Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays
