Salary range (but not limited to):

59,300 - 72,500

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

7.5%

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

Pour réussir dans ce rôle, une expérience liée à l’habitation/bâtiment est importante, par exemple : inspection en bâtiment, estimation, restauration après sinistre ou construction.

Lieux de travail : Montréal (2020, boul. Robert-Bourassa), Laval (600, rue Lucien-Paiement) ou Saint-Hyacinthe (2450, rue Girouard Ouest), Quebec ( 5700 Boul des Galeries)
Horaire : 8 h 30 à 16 h 30, du lundi au vendredi (35 h/semaine)
Date d’entrée prévue : 4 septembre 2026

Ce que vous accomplirez

• Recueillir la version des faits auprès des assurés ou des témoins et documenter les événements.
• Analyser les garanties applicables et déterminer si le sinistre est couvert.
• Évaluer l’information recueillie, établir les décisions nécessaires (responsabilité, analyse du dossier) et examiner l’évaluation des dommages.
• Régler les sinistres de façon juste et équitable : valider les dommages, négocier au besoin et procéder aux paiements.
• Au besoin, ouvrir de nouveaux dossiers de réclamation par téléphone et assurer une prise en charge rapide de la situation.

Exigences et profil recherché

• Motivation à évoluer dans le domaine de l’indemnisation.
• Expérience pertinente (ex. bâtiment / estimation / restauration après sinistre / construction; connaissance en mécanique du bâtiment, un atout).
• Excellentes habiletés de communication, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
• Sens de l’analyse, jugement et rigueur dans le traitement des dossiers.
• Solides compétences en gestion du temps et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités.
• À l’aise avec les outils et systèmes informatiques.
• Bilinguisme français/anglais requis : Nécessite de répondre aux appels et de fournir une prestation de services à une clientèle anglophone sur une base régulière.

Conditions pour l’obtention du permis (pendant l’emploi)

Afin d’obtenir votre permis d’expert en sinistre, vous devez répondre à l’un des critères suivants :

• Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) OU
• 3 ans d’expérience à temps plein transférable, ET un diplôme d’études secondaires (DES/DEP – au moins 60 unités) ou équivalent (CEES / attestation d’équivalence).

Formation

• Formation rémunérée, à temps plein, vous permettant de découvrir concrètement le domaine de l’assurance et la culture d’Intact.
• Encadrement et soutien pendant la préparation aux examens menant à l’obtention du permis d’expert en sinistre.
