A leading Subsea EPCI contractor is looking for an experienced Quality Advisor to support ongoing and upcoming project work in Stavanger.

This is a 12 month contract role, based in Stavanger only, working closely with project teams to ensure quality assurance activities are planned, implemented and followed up in line with company and client requirements.

This is a strong opportunity for a QA professional with EPCI project experience who enjoys working closely with engineering, project delivery, HSEQ, subcontractors and inspection teams.

 

Role overview

As Quality Advisor, you will provide professional QA support across project delivery, helping to ensure that project quality requirements are clearly understood, properly implemented and effectively monitored throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Key responsibilities

• Act as part of the project team, providing support and advice on QA matters
• Establish, implement and follow up project QA plans
• Plan and lead project audits and verifications
• Train and familiarise project teams with QA processes and requirements
• Support the project risk management process
• Control and support quality control and inspection activities to ensure EPCI and client specifications are met
• Coordinate third party QC inspection resources in conjunction with package engineers
• Support continual improvement of quality processes
• Facilitate root cause analysis for non-conformances
• Ensure corrective actions are properly planned, implemented and followed up
• Analyse QA performance and communicate findings internally and externally
• Evaluate HSEQ input during tenders
• Follow up subcontractor quality and HSEQ performance

 

Required experience

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a quality professional role
• Relevant education may compensate for some experience
• Previous experience within subsea, offshore, EPCI or large industrial project environments is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of QA plans, audits, inspections, non-conformance management and corrective actions
• Good workload and time management skills
• Organised approach with the ability to meet project deadlines
• Proactive attitude towards HSEQ and quality matters
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
