Description
This is an opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle, contribute to modern cloud-native solutions and play a key role in delivering products that have a direct impact on the business.
About the role
- Design, develop and maintain applications using Angular and .NET/.NET Core technologies.
- Build and enhance cloud-native services within Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and design through to deployment and support.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers and technical leads to deliver high-quality solutions aligned to business priorities.
- Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure platform stability, performance and reliability.
- Participate in agile delivery practices including refinement, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Contribute to code reviews, pair programming and engineering best practices across the team.
- Support the development of scalable, maintainable and secure solutions through strong testing and automation practices.
- Contribute to solution design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilise AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining ownership of quality, security and technical outcomes.
About you
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience developing and supporting software solutions within an agile environment.
- Strong knowledge of .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET and modern web application development.
- Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
- Experience working within cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL and data-driven application development.
- Understanding of software design principles, development best practices and modern engineering approaches.
- Experience with testing frameworks, automation and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with tools such as Entity Framework and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
