Description
Shift: Sun-Thur 3 pm - 11:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, aerial lifts, and related warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and facility-related issues and implement effective repair solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on both warehouse equipment and building systems to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems including lighting, plumbing, doors, building infrastructure, and general facility equipment.
- Assist with electrical troubleshooting, minor repairs, HVAC support, mechanical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep.
- Support grounds maintenance and exterior facility upkeep as needed.
- Cross-train in additional maintenance disciplines, including refrigeration systems and other industrial maintenance functions, to support career growth and operational flexibility.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in building maintenance, forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, HVAC, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems.
- Building Maintenance: Experience supporting lighting, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs is a plus.
- Refrigeration: Refrigeration and/or ammonia experience is a plus.
- Certifications: OSHA, forklift certification, HVAC certification, or related technical training is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize repairs.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in cold storage environments, perform work at heights, and safely operate tools and equipment.
