Overview
Under the direction of the Athletic Director, the Head Coach Track & Field is responsible for developing and leading a competitive and educational athletic program that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, character development, academic success, skill development, and student-athlete growth. The Coach will provide instruction, leadership, and supervision while fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants. Key responsibilities include planning practices and competitions, teaching sport-specific skills, developing practice plans, fostering teamwork and discipline, ensuring student-athlete adherence to policies, promoting academic success, maintaining safety, coordinating equipment and facilities, and communicating with stakeholders. The position requires previous coaching experience, knowledge of sport-specific rules, strong leadership skills, and CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
