Description
Overview
The Renal Specialist Level III will identify the needs and priorities of the dialysis and apheresis patient through assessment. The Renal Specialist Level III plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The Renal Specialist Level III evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The Renal Specialist Level III is accountable for outcomes of patient care of assigned patients.
Qualifications
Education required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
License, certification and/or registration: Current Alabama Nursing Licensure required
Experience: Must have completed one (1) year of experience in the Dialysis Unit as a Renal Specialist Level II.
Additional skills/abilities: Must meet criteria of Renal Specialist Level III to apply. Responsibility of the Dialysis staff to give supporting documentation for Renal Specialist Level III to the Dialysis Unit Charge Nurse. Call required
