IT Sales Representative
Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking a driven and results-oriented IT Sales Representative to grow an IT hardware and managed IT division in Port Elizabeth. The role is focused on generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and closing sales. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team, IT solutions specialists, and technical department to identify client requirements and design tailored technology solutions that meet their business needs.This is a high-growth opportunity with strong commission potential.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Generate new business through:
- Cold calling
- Networking
- Referrals
- Existing client base
- Identify opportunities for:
- Managed IT services
- Microsoft 365 solutions
- Networking solutions
- Server solutions
- Cloud solutions
- Cybersecurity (firewalls, endpoint, email security)
- Book and attend client meetings
- Work with the Solutions Specialist to:
- Scope solutions
- Build proposals
- Close deals
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of opportunities
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Ability to understand business needs and position solutions
- Valid driver’s license
- Some experience with IT, Telco, connectivity, or cyber security products
