Overview
The Maintenance Level 1 performs daily maintenance required to turn units, complete work orders, and conduct monthly preventative maintenance as requested by the Property Manager. Key responsibilities include supervising and training maintenance assistants, working knowledge in all apartment maintenance areas (plumbing, electrical, carpet repair, drywall repair, carpentry, glass repair, appliances, HVAC, grounds maintenance), performing work orders promptly, and maintaining OSHA compliance. The role also involves on-call responsibilities for tenant emergencies. Candidates must have minimum 5 years of maintenance engineering experience, 2 years of supervisory experience, own tools, and professional certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical are preferred.
