Meet the team:

Dexcom is seeking a compliance leader to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders for the North America region. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Compliance, this role will lead the North America compliance team and partner cross-functionally with commercial, medical/clinical, regulatory, legal, and HR teams to uphold Dexcom’s ethical standards and regulatory obligations.

The ideal candidate combines deep subject matter expertise in healthcare compliance with a practical, business-oriented mindset and collaborative working style. Be part of an inclusive, mission-driven culture where compliance professionals and business partners work together, empowering one another and partnering with Dexcom’s leaders to drive positive, lasting impact.

Where you come in:

  • You will lead the execution of the Corporate Compliance Program for the North America region, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  • You serve as a trusted compliance advisor and act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing pragmatic, risk-based guidance on commercial and operational initiatives. You will advise on key compliance areas including interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs), engagement models and market access strategies.
  • You will manage periodic compliance risk assessments to identify, prioritize, and mitigate key risks. Partner with stakeholders to design and implement practical, scalable controls and mitigation strategies.
  • You manage processes related to HCP consulting arrangements, speaker programs, grants, and sponsorships, samples, etc.
  • You lead end-to-end execution of U.S. transparency reporting (Open Payments), ensuring accurate capture, validation, and submission of reportable HCP transfers of value.
  • You develop and deliver targeted compliance training tailored to business needs and risk areas.
  • You manage internal compliance investigations for the region and ensure appropriate documentation, remediation, and escalation consistent with company policy.

What makes you successful:

  • You bring 8-10 years of experience in healthcare compliance, legal, or related function within the medical device or pharmaceutical industries; healthcare compliance certification (CHC, CCEP) strongly preferred.
  • You have a deep working knowledge of AKS, FCA, FCPA, Stark Law, PPSA/CMS Open Payments, AdvaMed Code, MedTech Canada, and OIG/DOJ guidance.
  • You bring experience of acting as a trusted advisor to sales, marketing, commercial operations, medical affairs, and other cross-functional leaders.
  • You are committed to teamwork and maintaining strong relationships and lines of communication with business partners and other key stakeholders across the organization.
  • You have excellent decision-making skills, practical business judgement, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

What you’ll get:

  • A front row seat to life changing CGM technology. Learn about our brave #dexcomwarriors community.
  • A full and comprehensive benefits program.
  • Growth opportunities on a global scale.
  • Access to career development through in-house learning programs and/or qualified tuition reimbursement.
  • An exciting and innovative, industry-leading organization committed to our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.
