Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining detailed awareness of activity on site.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, entrances, parking areas, and/or perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor high-traffic areas, observe customer and associate interactions, and report security-related concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support access control and closing procedures as needed, document incidents and/or daily activities, and communicate with site contacts and local responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
