Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor lobby and reception areas, manage access requests, verify credentials, and document visitor activity in support of security-related policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support badge distribution, sign-in processes, and other administrative duties connected to the front desk post.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk, observing activity, and reporting concerns according to site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
