Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed CPO Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, local law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor and/or employee screening processes in alignment with site protocols for a financial services environment.
- Maintain a visible presence while handling assigned post duties, preparing accurate reports, and reporting maintenance, life protection, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPO is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
