FedEx is seeking a Properties & Real Estate Project Specialist-Senior (f/m) to join our Real Estate team and support the strategic growth and optimization of our logistics network. This role is ideal for experienced commercial real estate professionals who combine strong business acumen, negotiation expertise, and project management capabilities with a passion for delivering operational excellence.
As a Properties & Real Estate Project Specialist-Senior (f/m), you will play a key role in developing and executing FedEx's real estate strategy, ensuring that our facilities portfolio supports current and future business needs while maximizing value and minimizing risk.

What you will be doing:
- Support the development and execution of FedEx’s commercial real estate strategy across assigned markets and countries, identifying and recommending opportunities that support network growth and operational efficiency.
- Conduct market research, location assessments, and portfolio optimization analyses to support real estate decision-making.
- Manage real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, lease renewals, relocations, and negotiation of commercial terms.
- Coordinate feasibility studies, due diligence activities, financial evaluations, and the preparation of business cases and investment analyses.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of industrial, logistics, office, and operational properties, ensuring effective lease administration and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Legal) and external partners, serving as the primary point of contact for real estate projects and transactions.
- Support facility development, expansion, renovation, and relocation projects, monitoring timelines, budgets, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
- Identify and mitigate commercial, legal, and operational risks while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, environmental requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations for senior leadership and maintain accurate real estate records and documentation.
What do you bring with you:
- Proven experience in commercial real estate, including leasing, acquisitions, relocations, and portfolio management.
- Experience negotiating with landlords, developers, brokers, and other external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market assessments, location analyses, and financial evaluations.
- Experience managing due diligence processes, feasibility studies, and real estate transactions.
- Knowledge of industrial, logistics, office, and operational property markets.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.
- Understanding of commercial, legal, and regulatory aspects of real estate transactions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop and present business cases and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
