Objective of the position:
To supervise and improve the activities done by the assigned Operative Unit, in order to achieve production results based on TOS System, to ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale and ESG metrics fulfillment through a Scorecard, coordinating the necessary activities inside and outside the operative unit to meet the goals set by the Company, in alignment with the envisioned future, purpose statement and ideal results of Saltillo TMP.

Experience in manufacturing or production leadership roles, Experience continuous improvement initiatives (2+Years)

Main Functions:

  • -To plan and conduct all activities associated to the fulfillment of production at the workplace, to establish personnel equipment and facilities requirements, to get the most return from the investment and the maximum amount of profits for the company.
  • -To promote personnel development through a strong focus in mentoring, coaching and training, primarily but not limited to direct reports.
  • -Decision making regarding performance standards and checkpoint, and to do follow up to improve direct labor and supervisors’ efficiency.
  • -To determine and analyze resulting needs in the area; due to product change, bottlenecks or inefficiencies to implement solution actions, to do adjustments to processes to improve production.
  • To fulfill yearly scheduled production objectives in safety, quality, delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment to accomplish scheduled production objectives for his area using TOS Tools.
  • To establish and carry out development programs along with the Director for the assigned personnel, communication and other activities to promote continual improvement, order, cleanliness, safety and hygiene in the assigned area.
  • To establish production parameters and limits for the different types of products and the mixture of those at the workplace, for decision making in order for production management to be efficient.
