Overview
You will be part of the FX and Commodities Settlements Team, responsible for managing daily pre and post settlement activities through both manual and Straight-Through Processing (STP) workflows. The team’s core responsibilities include ensuring the timely settlement of Foreign Exchange (FX), Energy and Emissions trades, processing cash transfers for clients and banks, and reconciling internal ledgers against incoming and outgoing cash flows. You will be responsible for ensuring the operations environment is run in a controlled manner, ensuring that all KPI’s are achieved and delivered to the standards agreed. The job holder also needs to ensure the resources both human and technological are managed effectively to ensure that all operational risks are mitigated, there is coverage to ensure any business requirements - standard and non-standard are understood and always met; Job holder needs to manage market-driven flows, understand the client and market needs and be able to manage the team to adapt to these to ensure delivery. Other responsibilities include cross-training, succession planning, preparation of management reports and contributing to departmental initiatives and working with various departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of all activities on a regular basis
within the given timelines.

What You’ll Do
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all FX, Commodities, Energy and Emissions pre- and post-settlement activities in line with agreed service levels
Manage settlement breaks, cash discrepancies and client queries by coordinating with Sales, Trading, Operations, Deutsche Bank branches and external counterparties
Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across the UK, US and APAC regions, ensuring prompt resolution of critical and complex issues
Supervise day-to-day team activities, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and serve as an escalation point for operational risks and exceptions
Drive process improvements through automation, workflow optimisation, enhanced STP rates and implementation of strategic initiatives, including User Acceptance Test and system enhancements
Maintain process documentation, capacity models and business continuity plans, while producing MIS reports, analyzing operational trends and identifying opportunities for improvement
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree
Relevant working experience in investment bank – preferably in Derivatives
Should understand Derivatives workflow
PC literate (Word, Excel – macro, Power point)
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Time Management and Stress Management Skill
Assisting the team in decision making and taking and be the backup for the Team Manager
Analytical ability to analyze process for re-engineering opportunities
Strong analytical skills and ability to multitask

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $63,000 to $97,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
