Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Vehicle Driver in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a professional, welcoming environment. This driving position requires operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, perimeter areas, parking areas, and operational zones to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access control activities, verify authorization for personnel and visitors, and maintain accurate logs and reports as required by site procedures.
- Communicate observations, incidents, and potential security-related concerns to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency personnel as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
