What You'll Do
As a Medical Assistant, you'll work closely with our providers to deliver exceptional primary care while helping patients feel welcomed, informed, and cared for.
Responsibilities include:
- Rooming patients and preparing them for appointments
- Recording medical history, medications, and vital signs
- Assisting providers with exams and minor procedures
- Collecting specimens and performing routine screenings
- Documenting patient care in Athena EMR
- Supporting patient flow and communicating with patients and families
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A team player who enjoys helping others
- Experience in a medical office is helpful, but we encourage motivated candidates from healthcare or customer service backgrounds to apply
