As Shamal Holding continues to grow, we’re in search of a Planning Engineer to be part of our Sky Dive business. In this role, you will oversee the continuing airworthiness management of the aircraft fleet, ensuring ongoing compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, airworthiness requirements, and international industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess, control and update all maintenance activities on aircraft i.a.w AMP, along with coordinating of all maintenance to be performed on SDD’s aircraft with approved CAR 145 and within approved time limitation.
- Assess, control and update all applicable maintenance (ADs, SBS, etc.), along with using assessment form for them to ensure that expected time to c/o the technical documents (ADs, SBS, etc.) are not exceeded as per issuing authority or manufacturer’s instructions and within approved time limitation.
- Prepare the work order for the maintenance (SMI//USMI) on the aircraft /component and reviewing the work packages (work cards and tasks). Be sure after accomplishment of the work, receive accomplished package with the associated CRS and signoffs.
- Monitor all maintenance data, continuing airworthiness document and maintaining subscriptions with aircraft’s manufacturers to make sure of continuing up to the date and amending the publication.
- Maintain & update entries (total hours, landings and cycle, etc.) in the logbooks (aircraft, engine and propeller), and ensure for the accuracy and completeness of all aircraft records Monitoring all maintenance faults, repeated defects, malfunctions, defects, deferred defects and other occurrences which could affect the continuing airworthiness of aircrafts, and updating daily the maintenance history file.
- Control and monitor all applicable modifications, repairs, and alterations, along with Maintain a record of accomplished and outstanding mandatory requirements.
- Manage, keep and archive (i.a.w CAR M 305/306) all continuing airworthiness records or operator's technical log are retained in accordance with the requirements (CARM 306 & CAR M/Section H)
- Prepare and issue production planning report.
- Monitor, schedule, update, and follow up the accomplishment of all the maintenance task, life limit parts that are installed on aircraft i.a.w AMP along with updating daily the aircraft maintenance monitoring form (AMS), and keeping, updating and traceable for all records.
- Update, monitor and Issue status for the latest revision of all subscription’s manual (AMM. AFM, EMM, CMM, etc.), and accordingly updating the share file (if required).
- Update the SDD’s share file by issuing the latest revision of all approval manual by GCAA (AME, CAME, AMP, etc)
- Understand the conditions for ensuring continuing airworthiness of aircraft, critical task, deferred defect & independence task, along with understanding of professional integrity, behavior and attitude towards safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, management, aeronautical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning or a related field.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in similar environment.
