ESG Finance STA

This STA offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in ESG reporting, risk & control, data analytics and automation/AI. You will contribute to accurate and compliant ESG reporting while supporting the implementation of automation and AI-driven solutions that improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and management insights. You will work with stakeholders across the bank, building both a strong network and valuable business insight.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven colleague who can:

• Support in the timely delivering of complete, accurate and compliant ESG reporting requirements for external disclosures and internal management reporting.
• Partner with all RBNL tribes to define meaningful ESG KPIs, monitor progress, and ensure consistent and reliable reporting through dashboards and steering reports.
• Translate new / updated ESG regulatory requirements into reporting processes and controls.
• Perform data quality reviews and validate ESG metrics to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Support internal and external audits of ESG reporting and controls.

Drive continuous improvement of ESG reporting, data governance, and reporting efficiency through automation, AI, and process optimization.

• Support management decision-making by providing ESG insights, performance analyses, and reporting expertise.

Summarized:

• You will work in a fast changing environment where ESG regulations, reporting standards, and stakeholder expectations continue to evolve.
• You will contribute to two strategic priorities of ING: ESG transformation and AI-driven automation.
• You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the bank, including, Risk, Sustainability, HR, Data Management, and all RBNL tribes.
• You will combine regulatory expertise, data analytics, stakeholder management, and innovation in a single role.

About the team

This vacancy is in a Finance/ESG reporting team of about 20 people. It is a mixed group in terms of nationalities, ages, experience and gender where we find it important everyone can feel part of the team.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a curious and motivated colleague with a strong interest in sustainability, data, and reporting. You enjoy analyzing information, solving problems, and working with different stakeholders. You are eager to learn, take ownership and contribute ideas for improvement. Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI is a plus, but most importantly, we value enthusiasm, a growth mindset, and a willingness to develop new skills.
