About the Company

Our US-Based client is a fast-growing company focused on delivering high-quality solar energy and roofing solutions across Texas. As the company continues to expand, we're looking for a proactive recruiter to lead hiring efforts for our field operations and help build a scalable recruiting function.

About the Role

We are seeking a Recruiting Manager to own and drive all recruiting efforts for field-based positions across Texas. This person will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring skilled trades professionals, including electricians, solar installers, and roofers.

Beyond filling open positions, you'll play a key role in improving recruiting operations, developing efficient hiring processes, and ultimately becoming the primary decision-maker for field hiring.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys high-volume recruiting, building processes from the ground up, and partnering closely with operations to ensure hiring goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for field-based positions across Texas.

  • Source, screen, interview, and hire skilled trades professionals, including electricians, solar installers, roofers, and other labor positions.

  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified field talent.

  • Build and optimize recruiting workflows, processes, and hiring best practices.

  • Manage candidate pipelines and maintain an organized recruitment process.

  • Coordinate interviews and communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process.

  • Make hiring recommendations and become the primary decision-maker for field recruiting.

  • Track recruiting metrics and continuously identify opportunities to improve hiring efficiency.

  • Build relationships with trade schools, referral networks, job boards, and other sourcing channels.

  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, solar, skilled trades, manufacturing, logistics, or other blue-collar industries.

  • Proven experience recruiting laborers such as electricians, roofers, installers, technicians, or similar field positions.

  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple open roles simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable making hiring decisions independently.

  • Advanced English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

  • Experience hiring for solar or roofing companies.

  • Familiarity with recruiting CRMs or ATS platforms.

  • Knowledge of recruiting metrics and process optimization.

What We're Looking For

  • Self-starter who takes ownership of recruiting outcomes.

  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability.

  • Process-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Confident decision-maker who can operate independently.

  • Resourceful and creative when sourcing difficult-to-find talent.

  • Excellent relationship builder with both candidates and hiring managers.

Working Hours

The standard schedule is 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST. However, some flexibility is expected, as interviews may occasionally need to take place outside regular business hours to accommodate candidates' availability.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation in USD

  • Fully remote position

  • 15 business days of PTO per year

  • US Holidays
