Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Food Nutrition Financial Analyst, you will possess strong analytical skills and an understanding of financial controls, analyzing financial data and preparing accurate financial reports.Every day you will provide strategic insights to support operational efficiency with the Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) Department.To be successful, you must have strong technical skills with a deep understanding of Food and Nutrition Services operations and effective communication.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to provide insights for decision-making
- Provides oversight to ensure accuracy of hierarchy in all applicable FNS platforms within each region, including CaterTrax, Computrition, Meal IQ, Volante and/or other applicable systems
- Assist in budgeting, variance analysis (productivity, cash reporting, forescasting, accounts payable) and strategic planning with FNS
- Collaborate with leadership to develop pricing strategies and cost optimization initiatives
- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to achieve FNS short tem and long term goals
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; will consider equivalent experience with a minimum of seven (7) years in the accounting/finance field
- Experience with analytics tools for data analysis
