SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and results-driven Associate Financial Analyst to join our vibrant Finance Team in the ZhongShan office. If you thrive on data, have a keen eye for detail, and love collaborating with diverse teams to tackle challenges head-on, this role is perfect for you! The ideal candidate will be data-driven, adept at managing large datasets, and proactive in solving problems alongside cross-functional teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Capture new product development expenditures and allocate costs to accurately report actual versus budget analysis.
- Prepare and distribute weekly reports on a timely basis for senior management to review and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect up-to-date costs and provide data-driven insights to assist with reporting.
- Support the finance team with various tasks as needed.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to forecast and evaluate new product initiatives.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with corporate targets and shareholder expectations.
- Analyze financial data to generate insights into strategic recommendations on product investment and market positioning.
- Prepare financial analysis presentations for senior leadership, distilling complex information into clear, concise narratives.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization within the financial analysis function.
- Act as a liaison between the finance team and other departments to ensure seamless communication and integration of financial strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years’ experience working with data analytical tools, with
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
EDUCATION & SKILLS
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics (or equivalent)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese. The idea candidate should possess strong data interpretation and storytelling skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to delivery team and organizational goals.
