Human Resources firm is seeking an experienced, technology-driven HR Generalist to provide full-time leave coverage for a valued member of their team. This position offers a paid six-week training period beginning on or about October 1, allowing the selected candidate to learn our processes and systems before assuming full responsibility on November 23.
The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented HR professional with strong HRIS experience who understands how Human Resources processes integrate with payroll. This individual will support clients remotely while managing the complete employee lifecycle with professionalism, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for clients by responding to employee and manager inquiries.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding.
- Process daily pre-payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Maintain employee records and perform accurate HRIS data entry.
- Administer benefits and coordinate employee enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Manage and document leaves of absence, including FMLA and other leave requests.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies and employment regulations.
- Prepare employment documentation, personnel records, and HR reports.
- Partner with payroll to ensure employee data and payroll information remain accurate.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Support additional HR projects and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and the employee lifecycle.
- Experience supporting payroll or working closely with payroll functions.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, including:
- Paychex
- Kelly Benefits (KTB) Payroll/HRIS (preferred)
- Knowledge of benefits administration and leave of absence management.
- Experience coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Working knowledge of HR compliance and employment documentation.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Teams).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while providing outstanding client service.
