Job Summary
Mass General Brigham Medical Group is seeking a Per Diem Wound Care Physician to join our established Wound Care Center at Salem Hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment while providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with acute and chronic wounds.
The Wound Care Center offers comprehensive outpatient evaluation and treatment utilizing evidence-based practices and works closely with specialists across multiple disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds in an outpatient setting.
Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based wound care practices.
Perform bedside procedures, including wound debridement, when appropriate.
Collaborate with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, primary care physicians, surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive care.
Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record.
Participate in a flexible per diem schedule based on departmental needs.
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, or other applicable specialty).
Massachusetts medical license (or ability to obtain).
DEA certification.
Previous wound care experience is preferred, though physicians with an interest in wound management and procedural care are encouraged to apply.
