What You'll Do
- Represent clients in divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, and other family law matters.
- Manage cases from initial consultation through settlement or trial.
- Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Negotiate favorable outcomes while protecting clients' interests.
- Provide strategic legal counsel and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
- Meet a minimum annual billable requirement of 1,550 hours.
What You'll Bring
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active New Jersey Bar license in good standing.
- 4+ years of divorce and family law experience.
- Experience handling divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, and related family law matters.
- Strong courtroom advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills.
- Excellent communication, client management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
- Transferable book of business is highly preferred.
