POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Membership and Healthy Living Program Lead to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on community health and wellness by leading membership engagement and healthy living initiatives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and oversee membership engagement strategies to attract and retain members.
- Lead and coordinate healthy living programs, including fitness classes, wellness workshops, and community health initiatives.
- Collaborate with staff and community partners to promote health and wellness activities.
- Monitor program participation and evaluate effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to members, addressing their needs and feedback.
- Manage program budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with YMCA policies, safety standards, and health regulations.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid. (Training provided by the Y, if needed)
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Proven experience in program management, community outreach, or health and wellness programming.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage diverse populations.
- Knowledge of fitness and wellness best practices, including current trends and certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid) is a plus.
- Passion for community service and promoting healthy lifestyles.
