Job Overview

As a Senior Recruiter, you will play a key role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across Oliver Wyman Japan, leading hiring needs from entry-level and experienced professionals to Partners and support functions. You will partner closely with business leaders to develop sourcing strategies, deliver an exceptional candidate experience, and strengthen Oliver Wyman's employer brand in the market.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle across Entry-level, Experienced Hire, Partner, and Support Professional roles, from sourcing through offer and onboarding.

• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to develop and execute effective hiring/ attraction strategies aligned with business needs.

• Proactively lead campus recruiting initiatives for both domestic and international universities, including talent attraction strategies, campus and candidate engagement, recruitment events’ planning, networking, internship programs and interview coordination.

• Build and expand relationships with universities, career centers, student organizations, and external partners to strengthen Oliver Wyman's talent pipeline, including identifying new sourcing channels and recruiting platforms.

• Lead the sourcing and engagement of  high-quality candidates using market mapping, networking, LinkedIn, Bizreach, Gaishishukatsu,  referrals, search firms, and other sourcing channels.

• Lead and deliver an outstanding candidate experience through proactive communication, interview coordination, and effective stakeholder management.

• Lead and  drive continuous improvement of recruiting processes, assessment methodologies, interview frameworks, and selection criteria to enhance efficiency, consistency, and candidate experience.

• Build and maintain talent pipelines and market intelligence to support current and future hiring needs.

• Propose solutions and promote diversity, equity and inclusion through targeted sourcing and hiring strategies.

• Manage recruiting data, reporting, and ATS (i.e. Workday) records to provide insights and support data-driven decision making.

• Manage  general Human Capital operations and projects, including onboarding, employee lifecycle activities, HR process improvements, reporting, and other people initiatives as required.

• Lead  recruiting best practices, employer branding initiatives, and strategic ad-hoc talent acquisition projects.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• 4 to 6 years of recruitment experience, ideally within professional services, consulting, financial services, executive search or multinational companies.

• Experience managing multiple hiring processes across a variety of functions and seniority levels

• Strong sourcing capabilities using LinkedIn Recruiter and other direct search techniques.

• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to confidently represent Oliver Wyman externally and build strong partnerships with candidates, universities, and industry contacts through a variety of networking and recruiting events.

• An entrepreneurial, self-driven, and proactive mindset, with the ability to independently identify opportunities, build talent pipelines, and engage with candidates and external partners.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• A collaborative team player who works effectively across business functions and in a matrixed environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Japanese language proficiency is required

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday Recruiter) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
