Description
Temporary position for 12 months.
As a Training Facilitator in the Competency Development Team, you will be responsible for delivering training programs to meet the needs of our new and existing learners within the P&C, Member & Client Relations Division. You will facilitate training content, deliver interactive and engaging training sessions, and assess the effectiveness of training interventions. More specifically, you will be required to:
Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions virtually
Adapt to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of participants
Facilitate discussions, activities, and exercises to enhance learning and retention
Contribute to simplifying and improving the M/C experience during interactions
Stay connected to operations and master systems and business expertise
Understand the pedagogical intentions and learning objectives to ensure the transfer is adapted to the learner
Engage diverse audiences
Manage multiple training activities simultaneously

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in education, Training or in related field
A minimum of three years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience as a training facilitator (presentation and facilitation skills), or similar role, with a background in instructional design and adult learning principles
Holds OTL (Other than Life) license
Expert proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
Expertise with core business systems (e.g. PROV/VENT, Property & Casualty System (PCS)), processes and products
Available to work flexible hours to accommodate Ontario and Alberta time zones
