All about the role:
The Electrolux Group's Legal teams work to empower our people and company with the very best legal advice. Making use of their expertise, they give advice on products, protect our brands, support our teams, and work with governments around all the issues that might arise. Through their dynamic and proactive engagement, they provide support in all legal matters and allow for the protection of Electrolux’s interests.
What you'll do:
As Legal Counsel Lead, you will be responsible for serving as the primary legal advisor for Electrolux Group's Andean Cluster (Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador), providing strategic and hands-on legal support across all business functions. You will partner closely with senior leaders to manage legal and regulatory risks, ensure compliance with corporate policies, support business growth, and influence key decisions that drive sustainable business results.
In detail, you will:
- Provide legal counsel to business leaders and functions across Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador, supporting commercial and operational objectives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and other legal documentation.
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver practical legal solutions and support strategic business initiatives.
- Act as the sole legal support for the Andean Cluster, collaborating closely with the Latin America Legal team.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise the business on potential impacts and required actions.
- Support advocacy initiatives and manage relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and external stakeholders.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EAI – Electrolux Always Improve).
Who you are:
- Qualified attorney licensed to practice law in Colombia.
- Solid expertise in Colombian corporate, commercial, and regulatory law within multinational organizations.
- Proven experience providing comprehensive legal support across multiple business functions, including commercial, compliance, governance, and risk management matters.
- Experience in consumer goods, retail, durable goods, manufacturing, or related industries is highly valued.
- Advanced English and Spanish proficiency.
- Availability for domestic and international travel.

You will be based at Electrolux Group’s commercial office in Bogotá. Located in Usaquén, it is the hub of sales and marketing operations in Colombia, where you will find teams fully dedicated to shaping living for the better through extraordinary consumer experiences.
