Description
We are looking for a student in the greater area of Graz who would like to support our NFC (Near Field Communication) and RF (Radio Frequency) System Validation team part-time, next to their studies.
Your Responsibilities:
Support the NFC RF Validation team with the execution of RF bring-ups and campaigns
Lab measurements, e.g. scope, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer
Operating of automated measurement setups – characterization of RF products
First level campaign reporting
Executing failure analysis and generate failure reports
Solder tasks (SMD components)
Your Profile:
Ongoing studies in Information and Computer Engineering (Telematics), Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Informatics or similar
Basic knowledge of RF measurement devices (Scope, Network Analyzer)
Experience with software languages like C# and Python is an advantage
NFC standards knowledge (ISO/IEC 14443, 10373-6, NFC Forum) is an advantage
PCB design (Altium Designer, Eagle) is an advantage
Solid English skills (conversation and writing) are mandatory
Availability around 15 hours per week
Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.800,- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
