Job Requirements:

• Must have valid NYS Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
• Must be willing to work in Freeport, NY
• Availability to work a live-in schedule:  Wednesday 9am – following Wednesday 9am (3-4 consecutive days on, 3-4 consecutive days off)
• Experience using a Hoyer lift preferred, or willingness to work with one (training available upon request)
• Fluent in English
• Have compassion, reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty

Job Responsibilities:

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
