Job Summary
Provides general administrative and project-related support for leave administration.
Essential Functions
- Responds to inquiries from customers. Provides exceptional customer service via email and phone interactions. Assists with periods of high-volume phone calls in partnership with the service center.
- Utilizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate through variable leave administration related situations working directly with the service center. Takes ownership of knowledge articles and identifies areas where process improvement is needed.
- Assists with projects, audits, compliance and other duties that support the operational effectiveness and goals of the leave administration team.
- Facilitates effective communication between management and team members regarding leave administration processes and status.
- Provides leave applications and materials to team members and assists team members throughout the leave process.
- Attends and participates in seminars and carrier webinars to expand knowledge of leave administration.
- Maintains up to date knowledge of the laws and pertinent legal decisions pertaining to the administration of leaves.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of relevant experience
Preferred
- 2 years of relevant experience
