This role offers the opportunity to be based at one of three key UK aerospace FMC locations, while travelling up to 75% of the time to support our people, operations, and customers across the business. You could be based at Bedhampton, a specialist site focused on the assembly and testing of hydraulic parts for aircraft motors and pumps; Titchfield/Daedalus, where our aerospace fuel systems expertise is entering an exciting new chapter with the move to a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence for aerospace manufacturing in Europe; or South Molton, our long-established Devon facility delivering precision-engineered components to some of the world’s leading aerospace brands. Whichever site becomes your home base, you’ll play a key role in connecting our UK aerospace network and helping drive excellence across multiple locations.
## What you’ll do:
Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Network Supplier Performance Manager.
The Network Supplier Performance Manager reports to the Operations Fulfilment Manager in a newly expanded organization dedicated to improving the global performance of Eaton Aerospace FMC suppliers globally. This role will be partnered with the network planning organization, manufacturing facilities and the Procurement Center of Excellence to ensure the proper flow of material to meet and exceed customer expectations and address under-performing suppliers to drive and sustain supplier performance improvements for the assigned network.
Responsibilities:
- Direct supplier recovery efforts by developing and executing corrective action plans, monitoring supplier performance, mitigating delivery risks, and ensuring timely closure of recovery actions to support production commitments.
- Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to drive alignment, improve communication, and ensure successful execution of customer commitments and performance targets.
- Establish and maintain best in class procurement processes in alignment with corporate and division procedures & training guides.
- Develop commodity knowledge and procurement process expertise within the Procurement Center of Excellence(s) and Operations Fulfilment organization to support effective supplier management, continuous improvement and problem solving.
- Monitor overall supplier performance metrics (Past Due, OTD, DPPM etc.) and address performance gaps by driving defined tactical strategies in accordance with the Focus Supplier Process or other short-term recovery plans.
- Drive process for systemic operational procurement improvements at sites and (Focus) supplier sites, using procurement/ materials tools.
- Leverage supply chain data to establish, refine, and communicate Operations Fulfilment priorities in alignment with site and business objectives.
## Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management
- 5 or more years of procurement experience
- Supply Chain experience in the aerospace industry (preferred)
## Skills:
- Solid understanding of global supply chain functions and its related component
- Advanced knowledge of Excel required including the use of v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems, MFGPro, SAP, PowerBI, Kinaxis plus
- Proven knowledge of production and manufacturing principles and processes
- Strong knowledge of lean tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational, time management and planning skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and project management skills.
- Team player with a receptive disposition, and a desire to contribute to the success of the supply chain operation.
